Kalima Resort & Villas Khao Lak

Spent there for three days. It was one of the best trip and hospitality in this year of me. This resort provided everything a person needs. It is like a perfect ecosystem. The best thing that i realized is Staffs and service. Everyone was extraordinarily nice to me. Especially for a lady stationed at the breakfast canteen named "Bee". Even though it was a busy morning with tons of guests having a breakfast, she still took a good care of me beyond expectation and my requests.

Our stay was very nice. The hotel was quiet and very relaxed at our time. I can highly recommend the hotel. In the evening, the only thing missing was some entertainment in the hotel. Khao-Lak is a very quiet area. Ideal for relaxing and switching off. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Thanks to all the staff at Kalima Resort❤️

Kalima resort has everything you could possibly want and need on a relaxing retreat, either it be for the whole family or just by your self. The staff is super friendly and helpfull and the resort it self can offer chill time by the pool, private beach or a relaxing paddle throug the mangrove forrest nearby. They also have a spa, beauty salong and a clothing shop. The pool area offers a whole section for the kids, and a relaxing area for the adults. If you would like other adventures the reasort is close to Similian Islands, Elephant Sanctuary and more! You can also get your training done as they offer both yoga, thai chi and muay thai boxing for intance. They offer private cooking classes where you can learn the tastefull art of thai cousine and presentation of thai food. I tried this and the skilled chefs Khun Ae, Khun Beuu showed me and explain in good english how to do it. Service and help from Khun Sarah for pictures and serving. I had an amazing day here, and can highly recomend spending time here! I will absolutley come back 🙏

I was sceptical when booking my first vacation in Thailand and I am extremely happy that I chose to go to Kalima resort at Khao Lak. The service is great. People are very nice. Even though the resort is not in Khao Lak, there is a free shuttle service directly from the lobby. The breakfast is great and I highly recommend to take this option with your booking. This is also a kid's friendly place. There is access to the sand beach. The resort has a number of restaurants on premises but if you want to eat cheap just walk out the gate.

Definetly,it s not a five star hotel. The drinks, are not the same all the time.Just orderd a whiskey sour, it s not shaked at all. I had a better one at the Gin Teppanyaki restaurant.The pools are dirty, and the acces to restaurant “Beach Bar Restaurant” it s verry verry dirty. They served dinner and they did not cleaned it after. You can t acces the pool.. we had last night room service…but the food it s verry different if you served it in the restaurant. I had a club sandwich, the chicken was fried insted of beeing grilled. I think most of the personal should know at least basic english. They cleand the rooms, they don t put all the towels back at their place.

We stayed here from the 4th of November to the 18th. But left England on the 3rd, 2023, and it's the best resort holiday in Thailand we have experienced. I read some reviews beforehand, and I was a little concerned. But, all those worries left once we arrived and were greeted by the friendly staff who welcomed us with cold, delicious drinks after many hours of flying and travel. They were so informative and helpful about the Kalima Resort and willing to do anything for you. We were in the middle of selling our house whilst here, and they also helped out print forms, etc, and were more than willing to help. Their language was perfect. We have no complaints whatsoever. There are so many negative reviews about this. I can tell you it's not true. Also, if you plan to go to a foreign country, please be polite and respectful and learn some basic Thai phrases, they love it, and are more than willing to help you learn. I loved it. kòp kun kâ. ❤️ A little goes a long way, including manners! Our room was perfect for us. We had a balcony pool view. My daughter came with my husband and I, her first ever Thailand experience. She loved it all and wanted to stay behind. They left us treats on the bed! ❤️🙏 The rooms were kept clean and tidy, and refreshments were always refilled. And if we didn't have enough, they have their own app where you can order more items if needed at any given time, they will bring it to your door. Just be respectful. The house cleaning staff were amazing. Again, (kòp kun kâ) whilst we were there, it was my daughters' and husbands birthday. You can make requests, but we didn't. But the cleaning staff noticed it was their birthdays by seeing their cards and left the most beautiful birthday greeting for them and cake. ❤️ The food was absolutely delicious. There's plenty to choose from and very delicious. (AROMA) You certainly won't go hungry. With many types of cultural foods. The whole resort itself is set out so beautifully that staff maintain high standards to keep it this way and start work here around 4 to 5 am in the morning as I witnessed. We loved everything about it. The pool was also great, especially when it's so hot outside. There's plenty of pool games provided. Which was fun. Please also go visit their private beach. It's so beautiful, but also there is free kayaking and many more activities, you are provided with life jackets etc, with the kayaks which we used once. I wish we used it more. The elephants are long the way. You may spot them being bathed. We did a separate trip there. What an amazing experience we bathed, a beautiful 32 year old female called Some-but and Fed them all. It was a truly amazing experience. Plus, they have tortoises living on the grounds and lots of wildlife. The beach is stunning, and they also provide sunbeds free of charge. And there is a bar. They do their best to keep it clean, but entitled people having no respect just leave their rubbish on the beach, stop being lazy, and put it in the bin. You're in their country now. Not ours! Also, there are amazing restaurants down at the beach (if you're not all inclusive, like we weren't) if you turn left outside of the main building entrace and follow the road down, then take a right turn. But there is an amazing man called Mark with his Tuk Tuk for a 100BHT who will happily take you, plus you're also helping him feed his family. Take a torch at night. You will need it. The wildlife is incredible. We witnessed a Black Cobra in the road. The only one in 2 weeks whilst we were there. Plus, you're also supporting the locals and providing them with incomes. They also do massages and hair braiding. The drinks and food. Wow. You won't need many drinks. They're pokey. 🤣 We truly had an amazing holiday here and felt so welcomed. We miss you so much.
